The young golfer can count on plenty of well-known backers as she begins her LPGA debut this Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who is related to a former US president, received a tournament invitation to participate at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State.

The former president, an avid golfer, possesses several courses worldwide and regularly competes against his granddaughter.

"He's pretty good. I can't say much but we play competitive games," she stated.

The golfer shared that Trump, who won't be present, counseled her: "Simply avoid anxiety."

"My grandpa essentially advised me to play and have fun," she explained.

"From my perspective, he's just a normal grandpa. He's not attending for the tournament. He's busy with running the country, making him somewhat preoccupied."

While still amateur, Kai has participated in a mere three competitions this year and maintains position 461 in the American Junior Golf Association standings.

But she's able to get advice from golf legend, in a relationship with Vanessa.

"He represents the top athlete globally," Kai stated.

"And he's a more impressive individual. He advised me to play, enjoy myself, following whatever happens."

Kai will face several most prominent players in the sport at the Annika, including second-ranked Nelly Korda, England's golfer Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.

Officials mentioned that Kai's presence helps introduce golf to wider groups, specifically with the next generation.

The social media influencer boasts millions of followers and has started her own clothing and lifestyle label.

She begins at 5:30 PM GMT.
