The Popular Show Campaign 4 Introduces the Warriors Table

From the very beginning of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master Brennan Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with deep backstory, a wide array of characters, and a exciting storyline showcasing celestial beings, demons, and malevolent powers expanding in influence within the city.

Heads-up: Spoilers for Episode 3 of this adventure lie ahead.

The Soldiers Table Unveiled

The third episode concluded with a huge suspense moment and presented the initial group of adventurers who will branch out from the central cast to embark on their independent quest, separate from the other two tables.

This warrior group consists of Teor Pridesire (played by the voice actor), the nimble rogue (Laura), the strong-willed figure (Whitney Moore), Wicander Halovar (Sam), and Kattigan Vale (the actor).

Dividing the Cast

Considering an extensive roster, it was evident from the beginning that maintaining everyone at a single group would be impossible.

That’s why, the opening chapters of Campaign 4 serve as an Prelude, connecting the characters’ stories before branching into three separate parties: Fighters, Planners, and Seekers.

Characteristics of the Combat Party

As described by the DM, the Soldiers table is for participants who prefer a classically intense fight-heavy story mode where diplomatic options are scarce.

Initially, figures such as the squeamish cleric the cleric might appear out of place, but the events of the third episode demonstrate why these five characters are ideally matched for the Soldiers table.

Motivations for Departure

First, the party understands precisely where to head next after a violent opening clash with the enemy group.

A former ally of the deceased character—whose passing started the narrative’s action—exploited The Crow Keepers for his own means, breaking into the hidden lair, attacking the character, and stealing all the enchanted items to auction.

Casimir then settled his liabilities and ran away to a Halovar stronghouse in the remote area, north of Dol-Makjar, with Cyd Pridesire hot on his heels.

Character Drivers

Secondly, each character has a individual motive to depart Dol-Makjar:

  • The agile hero, as Thjazi’s partner and closest confidant, wants retribution.
  • The knowledgeable figure knows the northern area and advises that it is a hostile place.
  • Tyranny and Wicander, having resisted his house’s orders to eliminate the fighter and instead rescued him, have no safe haven.
  • Yet, their reputation as key figures in the powerful family could enable the group access locations they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Additionally, The grateful character pledged a life debt to The cleric for his deliverance and will now follow him everywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

Finally, all of them are wanted by the rulers that rule the city for a multiple motives, making remaining behind no longer safe:

  • The rogue and The character are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The strong figure and The healer betrayed House Halovar and the horde of evil beings they are aligned with.
  • Teor is targeted for elimination by the clan.

This means them little choice but to head to the northern region in pursuit of the traitor.

What’s Next?

According to the recent installment’s Cooldown, we discover that the combat party won’t be around in the upcoming installment, leaving the rest of the players to assemble the Seekers and Planners tables.

Audiences can expect learning which players will be where in the story’s concluding setup installment, released on the upcoming Thursday.
